Watch: Growing the right food policy: plants, people, poverty, places and profits

Many thanks to everyone who joined us for SERA's third event at Labour Connected: "Growing the right food policy: plants, people, poverty, places and profits" and to our fantastic panel which included Luke Pollard MP, Shadow DEFRA Secretary of State, Tim Thorpe, Campaigns & Policy Officer at the Vegan Society, Florence Todd Fordham from the Soil Association. This important discussion was chaired by Shadow Food & Farming Minister and SERA Exec Committee member, Daniel Zeichner MP.

Supported by the Vegan Society, SERA hosted a panel discussion on tackling the escalating food crisis in the UK. Our speakers explored the importance of standing up for British farmers in the face of the government's dangerous trade deals, how and why Labour must win back the support of rural communities, how to push food to the top of the political agenda, how we can encourage more seasonal and plant-based earing and ending food poverty.

If you were unable to take part in this event, you can watch the recording below and listen to our speakers addressing these questions.
