The Birds and the Bees: Why the Environment needs Europe | Jake Sumner

Our natural world has received untold support through EU protection laws, and we need to remind people of this before any European Referendum, SERA Co-Chair Jake Sumner has argued this week.

Writing in an article for the Labour Movement for Europe Jake said “The EU has been a beacon of environment progress and remains a critical institution for future progress. It is time therefore to widen the referendum debate from arguments on economics and immigration to show that there is much more at stake.”
