Labour reshuffles environment and transport teams

The Labour Party has announced its changes to the Shadow Cabinet and frontbench teams. SERA is pleased that we continue to have Mary Creagh, Maria Eagle and Caroline Flint in the three most prominent environmental roles – although with a switch in roles. Mary Creagh is now Shadow Secretary of State for Transport while Maria Eagle shadows Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and Caroline Flint remains Energy and Climate Change Shadow Secretary.

The full environment, energy and transport teams are as follows:

Energy and Climate Change
Caroline Flint MP
Tom Greatrex MP
Jonathan Reynolds MP
Julie Elliott MP
Baroness Bryony Worthington

Transport
Mary Creagh MP
Lilian Greenwood MP
Gordon Marsden MP
Richard Burden MP
Lord Bryan Davies
Lord Richard Rosser

Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
Maria Eagle MP
Huw Irranca-Davies MP
Barry Gardiner MP
Thomas Docherty MP
Lord Jim Knight

We particularly thank Luciana Berger, who moves from climate change to public health, and Gavin Shuker, who leaves waste and water to join the DfID team, for their support of SERA in their roles.
