Waste and Resources
The way we deal with our waste and manage finite resources is at the heart of environmental sustainability. Individual and community action is important on issues like recycling. Government regulation and business can also play a role, for example in how we package products for sale.
SERA's research has show a disparity in the provision of recycling services across councils in London, with Conservative councils offering a less fair service that Labour run authorities. SERA campaigns for equal access to high quality recycling services – whether someone lives in leafy suburbia or a high-rise inner city flat.
